Really?? Hmmm... because that was more a marketing tool than an actual blog that time!
"During the month of July, the International Blogging Recognition Council (IBRC) had the pleasure of reviewing your blog The Adventures of Martini Mike!. Your blog was referred to IBRC through our Refer-A-Blog program. "Martini Mike's Midsummer Magic (Party) - A BENEFIT" was the topic that the Council reviewed. Based on the review, the Council has recommended that your blog receive IBRC’s designation of “Recognized Blog”. IBRC reserves this honor to those blogs that effectively connects with the audience and promotes the sharing of ideas and experiences.
We invite you to visit our website at www.ibrcblog.org to learn more about IBRC and our “Recognized Blog” award. Congratulation on your accomplishment.

I got the same thing today... wasn't sure what it even meant?
LOL! Well let's assume we both have awesome blogs!
Hey, I've got a fantastic blog too, cos I got the same award! Aren't we clever bloggers! I didn't click on the link though. I googled it instead and found this blog. Not much else though. It's all a bit suss.
I got one too, and not even for a real article. It was for a "bad signage" post. http://www.writeshop.com/blog/2010/07/21/punctuation-deliverys-needed/
I see that in order to use their "official" seal, you have to pay $45. Wonder how many of these they send out? Not sure how legit it is, especially in light of the "quality" of my "accomplishment."
OBVIOUSLY... <3 It's nice to meet you. :)
Those sneaky bastards!
I'm going to start my own council and only charge $20 to use my "badge"! Who's in?
"Martini Mike Approved"
Just like the coveted award (decal)that a bartender can NOT pay for.
But the council must of course approve your website/blog/etc.
;)
